You have the clinical skill. What you don't have is the business framework.

Most nurses considering a mobile foot care practice get stuck in the same five places — and quit, defer, or launch a half-built practice that loses money for the first year.

Legal Uncertainty

You can't get a clear answer about whether your state Board of Nursing actually allows independent foot care. Without that answer, nothing else moves.

Pricing Paralysis

You don't know what to charge — so you underprice yourself, attract the wrong clients, and spend a year correcting it.

Clinical Kit Guesswork

The e-file alone has 200 options. You need someone who's actually used the gear in patient homes to tell you what works.

Marketing From Zero

Podiatrists, home health, senior centers — you know they're the right referral channels. You don't know what to say when you walk in the door.

Documentation & Compliance

HIPAA, intake forms, financial disclosures, SOAP notes — the templates exist somewhere, but cobbling them together yourself takes months.

Certification Confusion

CFCS or CFCN? AFCNA or WOCNCB? Most nurses can't even tell you these are different organizations — let alone which credential fits their practice.

Why this course exists

I'm Iskander — a Registered Nurse running RNscrub Foot Care, a mobile foot care practice serving seniors and high-risk patients across San Diego and Santa Clara counties. Since 2023, I've completed over 700 patient visits in private homes, assisted living facilities, and senior communities.

I built this course because I spent the first year of my practice solving problems alone — legal questions no one would answer, marketing dead-ends, clinical kit purchases I regretted, documentation built from scratch — and I realized none of it needed to be that hard. Every nurse launching independently is solving the same problems for the first time.

This course is the operating system I wish I'd had — the legal foundation, the clinical kit decisions, the marketing scripts, the operational systems, the certification pathway, and the 80+ templates that turn theory into a launched practice. Built from real visits, refined across hundreds of patient encounters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this course for?

Registered Nurses with an active, unimpeded license who want to launch an independent mobile foot care practice serving seniors, diabetics, and high-risk patients. Independent practice is RN-level work in every US state — LPNs and LVNs operate under "directed" or "dependent" scope and cannot launch a sole-practitioner practice on their own license.

That said, the course can still be valuable for LPNs and LVNs working toward their RN, employed by an RN-led practice, or pursuing the CFCS credential to deepen clinical practice within their existing supervised role. (See the next question for more on this.)

I'm an LPN/LVN — can I take this course?

Yes, but here's the honest framing: independent mobile foot care practice is RN-level work in every US state. LPNs and LVNs operate under "directed" or "dependent" scope and cannot launch a sole-practitioner practice on their own license.

The course is still valuable for LPNs and LVNs in three specific situations: (1) you're actively working toward your RN and want the business framework ready when you license up; (2) you'll be joining or are employed by an RN-led foot care practice and want the full clinical and operational system; (3) you want to pursue the CFCS credential through AFCNA — which is open to LPNs and LVNs — to deepen your clinical practice within your existing supervised role.

If you're considering enrollment as an LPN/LVN, read the two free preview lessons first — and if you have a question about how your state's scope would apply, email me at iskander@rnscrubfootcare.com.

Do I need a certification to start a mobile foot care business?

No. An active RN license is the baseline requirement in most states. The course walks you through verifying your specific state's Board of Nursing scope before you launch. Certification — CFCS through AFCNA or CFCN through WOCNCB — is covered in Module 6 as a credential to pursue after launch. It strengthens your practice but is not required to begin.

Is this course only for California nurses?

No. The course is designed for RNs nationwide. California standards are used as the baseline (because that's where the founder practices), with explicit prompts and a complete State Board of Nursing directory to help you verify your own state's scope of practice requirements.

What's the difference between CFCS and CFCN?

They're separate credentials from separate certifying bodies. The CFCS (Certified Foot Care Specialist) is issued by AFCNA and is open to RNs, LPNs, LVNs, and other healthcare professionals — no bachelor's required. The CFCN® (Certified Foot Care Nurse) is issued by WOCNCB and requires a bachelor's degree; CMS specifically recognizes CFCN for Medicare-eligible services in ways CFCS is not. Module 6 walks through both pathways and helps you choose the right credential for your practice model.

How long does the course take to complete?

Most students complete the course in 4–8 weeks of focused study, with the 90-day launch checklist running in parallel. You have lifetime access, so you can move at your own pace and return to lessons as your practice grows.

Can I bill Medicare or insurance with my mobile foot care practice?

The course teaches a private-pay practice model, which is the right structure for the vast majority of independent mobile foot care nurses. Module 5 covers the Medicare landscape, what's covered vs. excluded, how clients can use HSA/FSA funds, and why direct Medicare billing as an independent RN typically isn't worth the administrative burden at solo-practice scale.

What does the course cost?

$597 paid in full, or three payments of $199. Either way, you receive lifetime access to all 32 lessons, 80+ downloadable templates, and any future course updates.

Do I get access to all the templates?

Yes. Every one of the 80+ templates is included — intake forms, consent documents, SOAP notes, pricing calculators, marketing scripts, safety protocols, the Excel cash flow tracker, certification workbooks, and the 90-day Practice Launch Checklist. The complete library is organized by module and lesson on a dedicated Template Library page inside the course.

How is the course delivered?

The course is hosted online — read at your own pace, on any device, with downloadable PDF templates and an Excel workbook. No fixed schedule, no live sessions required. You log in and progress through lessons in your own time.

Is there a refund policy?

Because the course delivers all 32 lessons and 80+ downloadable templates immediately upon enrollment, all sales are final. The free preview lessons (Business Blueprint and Module 1 Lesson 1) are designed to give you a complete sense of the course quality before purchasing — read them first if you're uncertain.

What if I think a lesson could be better — or I have suggestions to improve the course?

I want to hear it. This course is built by a working mobile foot care RN, and the goal is for it to keep getting sharper with every student who goes through it. If a lesson is unclear, a template needs a tweak, or you spot something missing — email me directly at iskander@rnscrubfootcare.com.

Genuine recommendations from working nurses are how the course got to where it is now, and they're how it gets better from here. You won't be ignored — every email gets a reply, and good suggestions get built in.

The practice you've been thinking about is closer than you think.

Read the two free lessons first if you'd like. Then come back and enroll when you're ready to build the rest.
