No. This course is designed for registered nurses at all experience levels — from new graduates to experienced RNs looking to pivot. The clinical modules build from foundational concepts and the business modules assume no prior entrepreneurial experience.
Yes. The course uses California nursing standards as a baseline — one of the most rigorous in the country — and every legal module includes state-specific guidance so nurses anywhere can apply the content correctly.
In most cases, yes. Local business license requirements are set at the city level — not county or state. As a mobile provider, you may need a license in each city where you regularly see clients. The course covers exactly how to research this wherever you practice.
Certification programs teach clinical technique. This course teaches everything around that — legal structure, protecting your nursing license, finding clients, pricing, and building a sustainable practice. Module 6 also covers the certification pathway.
