Mobile Foot Care Nursing Now Available in Fremont & Hayward, CA
We’re happy to share that RNscrub Foot Care is expanding into South Alameda County. Starting now, we’re booking mobile foot care visits in Fremont, Hayward, San Leandro, Newark, and Union City — bringing the same RN-delivered, in-home foot care we’ve provided across San Diego County and Santa Clara County to families and care communities in the East Bay.
Why We’re Expanding to Alameda County
Just like in our other markets, we kept hearing the same thing from seniors and family caregivers: getting to a podiatrist or salon for routine nail and skin care is hard when mobility is limited, and most nail salons aren’t equipped or trained to safely care for diabetic or vascular feet. A registered nurse who comes to you closes that gap — no transportation, no waiting room, no shared tools.
We’re starting with South Alameda County — Fremont, Hayward, San Leandro, Newark, and Union City — with plans to grow further as demand builds. (We’re not yet serving Oakland or the Tri-Valley area, but if you’re nearby, reach out and we’ll let you know when that changes.)
What a Visit Looks Like
Every visit is performed by a licensed registered nurse using single-use, sterile instruments — opened in front of you and disposed of after use. We provide toenail trimming and filing, callus and corn care, diabetic foot checks, and a lower-extremity assessment within RN scope of practice. We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions; when something needs a podiatrist or physician, we’ll tell you and point you in the right direction.

Seniors and family caregivers who want safe, in-home foot care
Clients living with diabetes who need careful, preventative nail and skin care
Individuals with vascular conditions or limited mobility
Hospice patients and residents of assisted living, board and care, and senior communities
Serving Fremont, Hayward, San Leandro, Newark & Union City
We’re now scheduling visits for homes and care facilities throughout South Alameda County, including Fremont neighborhoods like Irvington, Niles, and Warm Springs, and communities across Hayward and San Leandro. As always, we’re a private-pay practice and don’t bill insurance or Medicare, since most plans don’t cover routine foot care unless specific medical criteria are met. Payment is due at the time of service.
