Frequently Asked Questions
Do you serve all of Alameda County?
We currently focus on South Alameda County: Fremont, Hayward, San Leandro, Newark, and Union City. We are not yet serving Oakland or the Tri-Valley area (Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore). Contact us if you’d like to be notified as we expand.
Does insurance or Medicare cover this visit?
We are a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance or Medicare. Most insurance plans, including Medicare, do not cover routine foot care unless specific medical criteria are met. Payment is due at the time of service.
Do you come to assisted living and care facilities?
Yes. We provide on-site mobile foot care for residents of assisted living, board and care, residential care, nursing homes, and senior community centers throughout our Fremont, Hayward, and San Leandro service area.
How often should I schedule a visit?
Most seniors benefit from professional nursing foot care every 6 to 8 weeks. Individuals with diabetes, poor circulation, or thickened nails may need more frequent visits — your nurse can recommend a schedule at your first appointment.
What should I have ready for the visit?
Nothing. We arrive fully equipped with everything needed, including single-use, disposable instruments that are opened in front of you and disposed of after use.
